    Enjoy ferry rides, enjoy waterfront views and see seals while stroll along Fisherman’s Wharf, public tour at Royal British Columbia Parliament Buildings, tour the Miniature World, enjoy tea time at the Empress hotel (may be possible with older kids), stroll around downtown Victoria, etc.

    2) Bring binoculars if you have some. The ferry passes by a remote area where you can see mountain goats and deer roaming in the San Juan Islands. This is a nice extra free attraction on the ferry ride. The ferry staff makes an announcement to inform passengers when passing the area.
    3) There is small duty free kiosk in the ferry where you can shop duty free.
    4) Royal British Columbia Parliament Buildings are open to the public on weekdays (Monday to Friday: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm) so please check the schedule before you visit. Check the link below for more information.
