Stroll along the short forest trail that leads down to the beach, play in the sand, stroll along the shore, discover small sea creatures in tidepools, enjoy the sunset, etc.
  • Tips
    1) The Pacific Coast and Rain Forests is a bit too far away for a day trip so plan on several days if you want to explore the whole park.
    2) Be sure to check a current tide chart to visit at low tide if planning to explore tidepools.
    3) Take along a picnic blanket and some beach toys so the kids can play in the sand before or after exploring the tidepools.
    4) It can get pretty chilly even on sunny days with high temperatures if there is wind, so be sure to take along a jacket.
