- When to Go : Summer (mid-July to early September)
- Things to Do
Pick blueberries, eat blueberries, stroll along the trail connected to Mercer Slough Nature Park, etc.
- Tips
1) Bring hats, sunglasses, and water to prepare for the heat.
2) Although the farm provides picking baskets or buckets, kids love to bring along their own basket so let them take their Easter baskets or popcorn buckets from amusement parks for more fun.
3) You need to squat down to pick strawberries but blueberries can be picked at an arm’s reach so it is somewhat easier for both adults and children.
4) This farm accepts cash only so be sure to prepare some cash for your purchases.
5) You can also take a nice walk along the trail that is connected to the Mercer Slough Nature Park before or after picking berries. You can either start your stroll from here or drive over to park at the Mercer Slough Environmental Education Center located on the eastern end of the park after berry-picking.
