Between February and March (Be sure to check the bloom map for up-to-date info on blooms)
  • Things to Do
See the big, beautiful daffodil fields and also watch for birds (Snow geese and Trumpeter Swans migrate here every winter); take a stroll around the area to explore (Related post: Padilla Bay)
  • Tips
    1) Typically February and March has lots of rainfall, but when the forecast for rain is less than 50%, it is worth the trip.
(If you are lucky you could catch a short sunny break between the showers and even see a rainbow.)
    2) Field 16 located on the crossroad of Best Rd & McLean Rd is easily accessible from the street.
    3) Be prepared for mud and puddles with rainboots.
    4) It can get pretty windy, so don’t forget to take a warm jacket.
    5) Nice to have some binoculars to watch the birds. (Even the plastic Happy Meal toys my kids got a couple years ago came in handy!)
