- Things to Do
See the Cherry Blossoms and other spring blooms, take a refreshing stroll through the campus, bikes or scooters for the kiddos, watch ducks and Canadian geese (or more like watch the kids go after them)
- Tips
1) To avoid the crowd, go early (before 9 am)
2) Sunny days are beautiful too, but from experience, cloudy days yield better photos
3) Cherry blossoms are also located in the southern part of the campus on San Juan Road; this area is smaller than the quad but less crowded
(Trees located between Ocean Teaching Building (OTB) and Harris Hydraulics Lab (HHL))
4) University of Washington station of Sound Transit Link Light Rail is located next to Husky Stadium. A pedestrian bridge connects the station to UW campus and the Burke-Gilman Trail for bikers and strollers. The ride from UW station to downtown Seattle takes 8 minutes and the airport 46
