- Things to Do
Apple picking, jump and hop on the tires at the play area, face painting, bean bag toss game, corn maze, train ride, enjoy food and snacks from the country cafe, etc.
- Tips
1) You can enjoy food, drinks and snacks at the country cafe.
2) You need to buy tickets sold for $2 each for various activities (bin train ride, corn maze, face painting, etc.) – the farm accepts credit cards but having some cash can become handy.
3) To pick apples, ask about which types of apples are available and pay at the ticket booth (you will receive a bag that you can fill) before heading to the orchard. (The price for Honeycrisps are $2.00/lb, $20.00/bag in 2017.) Each bag for apple picking includes a free ride on the train.
4) There are more than 20 varieties of apples to choose from such as Jonagold, Sansa, HoneyCrisp, Golden Supreme, etc. (Check the website for more information)
5) You can either walk or ride the train (tickets required) to the orchard from the farmhouse. It is about a 5 minute walk past the corn maze on the left and pumpkin patch on the right and a short walk across a bridge crossing a small creek to get to the orchard.
6) To do the Corn Maze, ask and pay at the ticket booth before heading over.
7) October is also a good time to visit for the pumpkin harvest.
