  1) Making a stop here on the way to or from Leavenworth can be a good option.
  2) Visiting on the way to or from Lake Chelan is also a good option.
  3) The roads on highway 2 are narrow and winding so use caution – the area has lots of snow in winter so be sure to check the Stevens Pass road conditions on the WA State DOT website and be prepared (snow tires, chains, etc.).
