Go Strollers !!

[January in Seattle] Winter in Snoqualmie Falls

  • Distance and Travel Time (from downtown Seattle): 29 miles (37 min)
  • Trip Type: Outing
  • Parking
    1) Lower Park: park at the Lower Park parking lot.
    2) Upper Park: park at the Upper Park parking lot. Parking is also available across the street from the Upper Park of Snoqualmie Falls (East Parking). You can park here and cross the pedestrian bridge to get to the fall viewpoint.
  • When to Go
Any time of year (Good park to enjoy year round but can be chilly on windy days in winter and spring)
  • Things to Do
Stroll along the trail, see the waterfall, hydropower plant, and throw rocks in the water.
  • Tips
    1) The 0.7 mile trail that connects the Lower Park and Upper Park is fairly easy making it a good hike for the whole family. Go early and start from the Lower Park (going uphill) so the way back (downhill) is easier.
    2) In winter, the trail may be closed due to hazardous conditions.
    3) Visiting Northwest Railway Museum while you are there can be nice.
