Go Strollers !!

[February in Seattle] Padilla Bay

  • Distance and Travel Time (from downtown Seattle): 72.5 mile (1h 17m)
  • Trip Type: Day trip
  • Parking: Park in the parking lot
  • When to Go
Winter ~ spring (In February ~ March when the daffodils bloom, you can see the daffodil fields and watch birds all in one trip)
  • Things to Do
Stroll along the forest trail and/or along the shore, see wildflowers, watch birds (geese, swans), etc.
  • Tips
    1) Visiting while you are in the area to see daffodils or tulips (Roozengaarde, Tulip Town) can make a good trip.
    2) Visit the Breazeale Interpretive Center to learn about the ecosystem in the area and enjoy the exhibits and fish tanks.
    3) Nice to have some binoculars to watch the birds. (Even the plastic Happy Meal toys my kids got a couple years ago came in handy!)
