- Things to Do
Enjoy the Oktoberfest, stroll around the town, take a walk in city parks, water fun (summer), enjoy autumn leaves (fall), snow fun (winter), etc.
- Tips
1) If you drive along the US 2 highway, you can enjoy the beautiful fall colors along the Wenatchee river even when it rains.
2) After touring around the crowded town, you can enjoy a peaceful walk in city parks – Waterfront Park, Blackbird Island and Enchantment park.
3) If your family is not used to spending long hours in the car, make it an overnight trip.
4) Dropping by on the way to Lake Chelan can also be a good option.
5) The roads on highway 2 are narrow and winding so use caution – the area has lots of snow in winter so be sure to check the Stevens Pass road conditions on the WA State DOT website and be prepared (snow tires, chains, etc.)
6) In winter, visiting Stevens Pass and Leavenworth in one trip is also a good option as the winter season at Leavenworth is lovely.
