Go Strollers !!

[August in Seattle] Peach/Nectarine Farm – Stutzman Ranch

  • Distance and Travel Time (from downtown Seattle): 142 miles (2h 24m)
  • Trip Type: Day trip or Overnight trip
  • Parking : Park in the parking lot
  • When to Go : Summer (July to Sep)
  • Things to Do
Fruit picking (peaches, apples, grapes, pears, tomatoes, etc.)
  • Tips
    1) Bring hats, sunglasses, and water to prepare for the heat. The temperature can go up quite high during peach picking season (above 90 degrees) so go before noon if possible.
    2) Although the farm provides picking baskets or buckets, kids love to bring along their own basket so let them take their Easter baskets or popcorn buckets from amusement parks for more fun.
    3) If your family is not used to spending long hours in the car, make it an overnight trip and spend a night in Wenatchee.
    4) Including a visit to Lake Chelan, Leavenworth, Deception Falls, or other nearby destination in your plans is also good.
